Additional Inspection Services
New Construction Inspection
As the builder prepares for the final walkthrough of your new home, it’s important for you to bring in an unbiased third-party to professionally evaluate the property’s condition. We’ll assess each readily accessible area, looking for defective materials and safety concerns that need to be addressed by the builder before the real estate transaction moves into its final phase.
This inspection service is typically scheduled following the completed repair or replacement of a component we found to be defective during a full home inspection. We’ll come back to the home to take a look at the changes that have been put in place, making sure that the issue has been resolved so that you can proceed to the next step in the negotiating process. Your first Re-Inspection is provided free of charge.
When this inspection service is scheduled before you make the sale of your home public, it can significantly improve your chances of achieving a smooth transaction. You’ll be provided with specific details about your home’s condition that will allow you to make repairs as necessary and to communicate known issues with prospective buyers, making your home more attractive and helping you avoid stalled negotiations.
Home Maintenance Inspection
This full evaluation of a home is designed to help existing homeowners properly maintain their investment. We’ll thoroughly explain any issues we discover, proposing a maintenance strategy that will correct the issues and help to improve the longevity of your home.
Wood Stove WETT Inspection
This inspection service is a careful evaluation of a home’s wood stove or other wood-burning appliances. We’ll inspect the wood stove and all of its components, checking for safe operation and ensuring that the system is functioning as efficiently as possible. A WETT Inspection is offered at a discount when scheduled at the same time as a full home inspection. Insurance companies may require wood burning appliances to be inspected and certified by a WETT Certified professional.
Light Commercial Inspection
This investigative evaluation of a commercial property’s condition is best suited for light commercial buildings such as multi-unit residential complexes, office buildings, and storefronts. We’ll thorough examine the property’s structure and mechanical systems for potential issues that you may want to address before following through with a real estate transaction.
